Kracie Happy kitchen DIY doughnut kit

Hey all,

Weee~ look what I found in the local supermarket, it's Kracie Happy kitchen DIY doughnut kit. Cute packaging and lots of fun to make .Powdered doughnuts that you prepare yourself with just adding water. 

  

 Instructions on the back, can't read it but follow the images :) 
 Fill the oval with water then place mixture into it. The main dough is the 2 big packets provided. The rest are icing to decorate. Yellow packet then the brown packet( or vice versa). I'm assuming the brown packet is cocoa flavour (kind of tastes like milo when you add too much water) Mix until it is all mixed.  

 Cut the dough into pieces and fill the mould and press. Repeat. 

 5 packets left: purple is crumbs?TIME TO DECORATE! (forgot what they're called ><), blue is plain, red is strawberry and brown is chocolate. 

  With the corner piece, fill it with water and place it into each of the powders.Mix until dissolved. 

Finished product ! zzz at the failed cat, ruined the eyes.. 

 Overall they're lots of fun to make but I only managed to make only 5 of them. I must've put too much for 1......but when it comes to taste, it's chewy and tastes kind of plain, not really liking the taste of this.

Supanova 2013

So a few days ago Supanova was held in Melbourne. I haven't been to this expo in a few years but would like to say it was lots of fun. Saw David Hasselhoff and some other guests~

Endless walking and lots of photos. It was a great experience and managed to see some friends I haven't seen in a whiles ~

Sunday: Sweet lolita 

Just went there in the last few hours it was opened. It was so cold and it was raining..Managed to get a few snaps. Saw some local lolita's floating around :)

Angelic Pretty Day dream carnival

Hi all, 

It's been a while since i've last posted but i'm back! I feel like i''ve been neglecting this, so back to blogging whoop!

Well a few days ago I received my Day dream carnival tiered jsk + salopette.

This was a complete disaster I swear. Countless F5ing and having an error, I managed to find some bits and pieces on mbok as well.

I can say i'm glad to have bought the ivory jsk as opposed to the lavender one as it does actually look nice in real life. I bought the salopette in lavender though since it'll be easier to wear on an everyday basis. 

Happiness overload, it fits me perfectly.

Well this is all I have to say for today. I'll finish it off with some photos :)

there is shirring at the back as well as it has a already sewn in petticoat. It;s not poofy enough for me so I wear a cupcake petti as opposed to a A line petti. since 

 the tulle is detachable

the salopette has a little detachable star pochette as well as pockets :)

Food Adventures~ Mamasita

Today sets another day to go food tasting again. The place we went to this time was......

Mamasita

Level 1, 11 Collins Street, Melbourne

A friend had their birthday a few months ago but we didn't have a chance to visit this place since it was so packed by the time we arrived there. Now trying once again, we waited outside before the restaurant even opened. By then, it was already packed and a line was already forming outside. We managed to get seats but shortly after that the place was completely filled with customers. Before entering you'll have to walk some steps before you reach the actual place. A great welcoming feeling was there when we were seated and giving the menu. 

Food is a little pricey but the taste is amazing

The setting of the place was spacious, but seats were limited

 We ordered: Elotes callejeros (v)“Street Style” chargrilled corn, queso, chipotle mayo & lime"

This I say is........THE BEST CORN I HAVE EVER TASTED. 

 Followed by some Tostaditas. 
We picked:  De Pollo (Chargrilled chicken, avocado, chipotle mayo & queso fresco) and de Carnitas (Slow braised pork shoulder, encurtidos, pickled jalapeño & chicharron) 

Overall, service is ok. After paying about $40 for these, being full afterwards not quite, we went on another adventure for more food though I must say, the presentation of the food was well done. I'd recommend the corn though :D

Food adventures~ Visiting Guhng - The Palace

Today sets out another food adventure, this time visiting this korean restaurant. We went there for dinner after eating at Mamasita for lunch.

This is a korean restaurant that i've been wanting to visit for a while and since it was a friends treat to shout as a present for my belated birthday, we went here. We went for the evening session which started at 6pm. We were firstly welcomed and then seated down by the friendly staff (kekeke, the waiter serving us was so cute:X) Water was giving once we sat down and the nice dim lights set off a great atmosphere, giving a nice cosy feeling. The setting of the restaurant gave a traditional feel yet gave a modern vibe of the city. When ordering the Charcoal BBQ, A minimum of 2 meats are to be chosen. We picked our own dishes as opposed to the set banquets that were already set, so we landed out spending....about $80 all up. 

Here is the outside of the restaurant. So how it has a kind of "ancient"  kind of look :) There is also a bell as well a business card

 When we first walked in, I was amazed by how nice it looked inside. They also played some music by Yiruma for that romatic feel kekekek. 

  

We were seated here, there is also an upstairs and downstairs floor. 

The waiters were friendly and patient with our orders. Recommending us dishes as well.

Little side dishes were also given, from what I can remember it was pasta saladm pickled radish and kimchi <3 (I think the 3rd one was onions or something :S) 


First dish, more like an entree but these are amazing, crisp shell with soft meat inside. 
Pan fried dumpling filled with soybean curd, onion, garlic and ginger

 Next, Cheese Dukbokki. 
THIS IS AMAZING, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THIS. Melted cheese oosing all over. Although my mouth was burning due to the spiciness of it ahhaha.  

A vent hose thing for when the Charcoal BBQ started. We picked Bulgogi and pork belly (min of 2 meats)

Overall, we were bloated from all the food we'd eaten and this was a great experience. Great service, friendly staff, delicious food, all for a reasonable price. I'll definately be going back there again :) .
