Food adventures ~ Shanghai Dynasty Restaurant

Today sets another adventure, this time at

1/206 Bourke St  Melbourne VIC 3000

Luxurious fine dining restaurant with lovely service and decor, marble all over, chandelier lights with a warm feeling sets an atmosphere if we were going back in time, classy style.

Using scoopon vouchers, it was a 2 hour all you could eat yumcha. We went during lunch time and by then it was pretty packed. We were kindly escorted to our seats, asked what drinks
we'd like to order (wine, beer or soft drinks were included in the deal) and as soon as we sat down the food started wheeling its way towards us. Unlimited choices of food, the table was quickly filling up. Within an hour, we were pretty much bloated, over 50 dishes, by the time the the trolleys had arrived for the third round it was enough.

I enjoyed the food. the right texture and the right taste.
Id's recommend this to others who'd like a good experience.

Not the best photo of the storefront but it was quite pretty.
In the hallway before entering the dining room.
Dishes slowly increasing: Shrimp dumplings and meatballs
 King prawn cheung fan

More dishes, i'd say most are prawn filled.

 Sesame prawns on toast

Desserts: Egg tart, mochi with peanuts and sugar inside
 Mango pudding, sesame jelly, jelly
