Purchases, close to being broke D;

For the last few days I have been a couch potato browsing though a few items. I've been shopping a bit and have managed to find a couple of things just to brighten up my closet.I can say I do regret spending so much in so little time but temptation is one of my weakness. I'm pretty broke now, scavaging through my bags and clothes in hope of finding some loose change. Having a lolita hobby comes a BIG expense. I have a feeling when these all come I won't be as excited as much as for waiting for them to arrive.

Here's what I have purchased these passed few days. *Drums roll*  

Angelic Pretty USA was having a sale, so I was looking though the sales hoping to find something and yes being indecisive couldn't pick between the Sugar fairy cake tiered jsk (pink) or Sugar fairy cake Sugar Fairy Cake Jumper Skirt Halter Top (mint) as shown below.I really liked the mint jsk due to the fact that it has a nice bell shape as compared to the A-line tiered jsk.Too bad someone beat me to it but it made my decision easier, I purchased the Sugar fairy cake tiered jsk (pink) it was was 50% off the original price! I guess it was a good choice since I don't yet have a pink lolita dress as well as its tartened and tiered.These were the options left since  the Sugar fairy OP set  which comes with an apron, cuffs and a headdress was not available. I also purchased the mint version of the head bow (30% off) of the same prints since I thought I could coordinate it somehow with the pink since the pink head bow it was sold out also.Win win situation piece of mint and pink.I also purchased the fairy tale ribbon alice band in lavender (30% off) to match with the Toy parade OP which was in lavender, lavender is such a nice colour to wear :3

The Aatp Moonlit night round headbow(white), Btssb twinkle constellation OP (naxy x ivory) and Lace angel short length sock (offwhite).I somewhat hope to coordinate these together since the matching headdress is sold out :<

Nice and compact and costs only $32, valued at $109. The eyeshadows are shimmery and it's pretty well designed with a slide up mirror,stand at the back and a flip out palette. Money well spent

Manifest 17th & 18th Aug 2012

 \\ the event has finally come and it was a great few days. Got picked up by a Chris and drove there. The weather was pretty bad- on friday it was raining most of the day and when we left it was sunny, saturday was cold but it was sunny for a little while. There were many cosplayers and stalls but i've got to admit that the space they held the traders hall was a little too big but what can you do, the weather was horrid. Food stalls were a let down-there were only four food stalls and not much variety. Hung around with some friends- Kymmie, Victor, Tim, Darren, James, Kevin and more. On Saturday, caught up with some lolita friends, they were looking cute as usual- they coordinate their outfits so well.We watched some performances that friends were participating in as well as watched "Gangnam Style" it was interesting to see haha. There was a maid cafe that was run by a friend but the line was so long, didn't get a chance to go *inserts sad face but it was alrights, took a photo with a friend that was volunteering there, she was so cute like kyaaa :3 The crepes smelts so good. Overall if only the weather was a little sunnier it would've been great :)After two days on walking in heels my feet are officially busted haha, time to rest.

 

Outing with a friend part 2

13th Aug

Caught up with the same friend once again it was great. It was meant to be a short catch up but continued on to the evening. For dinner, we went to Oriental Teahouse to try out some teas-tried the fruit teas before we had a proper dinner. It was very sweet and reasonably priced and the service was great. Friend recommended that we went have korean food so she took me to Joo♥mak. I was meant to go there with another friend but it wasn't opened that day :< The service was great and the waiters/waitresses were pretty cute, they welcomed us into the place. The set up was quite gloomy but a relaxing place to be, the lighting was dim but the place was packed. We were pretty lucky to have a seat since we didn't make a reservation. The food came out pretty quick and so goood like *heaven* The kimchi was great and they kept topping it up. Overall at the place we spend $86.00 which was pretty reasonable, we had leftovers and since I didn't want to waste it, took it home. Headed towards MC to go home and damn we missed it by a minute but with that I bumped into a friend I hadn't seen since high school. *yap yap yap he doesn't stop talking so there was no time to sleep on the train. Funny enough when we all went onto the train I saw a familiar face but at the samae time was confused. What a cooincidence, he was shocked himself. I was happy though haha, seeing them made my day better than it already was. Overall it was a great day :)
